We all need support along our path.
Life is complicated and full of unknowns, loss, and difficult changes, but you don’t have to face them on your own.
A Grief and End of Life Doula will walk alongside you and your loved ones before, during, and after life’s most difficult transitions.
Life is beautiful, but it is also full of challenges, unexpected change, and loss. We are not meant to go through these struggles and transitions alone, but so many of us find ourselves feeling stuck, unsupported, and unable to move forward, or unable to find a sense of peace with the unknowns ahead. With a heart centered, trauma informed approach, I can walk alongside you to honor, empower and assist you through these difficult times.

End of life doesn’t follow a specific formula, nor does the work supporting it. A Grief and End of Life Doula can provide support following a terminal diagnosis, during the natural aging process, in the days of someone’s death, or even after a loved one has passed to help friends and family process grief. My work extends to human and non-human loss and transition.
As a Grief and End of Life Doula, I also work with those who are facing the smaller deaths in life, such as facing a chronic illness, injury, and other life altering experiences transitions. Grief is a difficult but natural part of living that comes in many different forms, and I also support those who are feeling more of an abstract grief, such as grief regarding the planet (eco-grief) or grief at the political state of the world. Additionally, my work can assist those who are being impacted by anxiety or fear of death and the unknown. I also offer care and guidance surrounding the integration of challenging experiences, such as near death and psychedelic experiences.

I am also thrilled to announce that I am one of the first licensed Oregon Psilocybin Services Facilitators, and I am currently accepting new clients on my waitlist! Time honored traditions and emerging science find that psilocybin can be particularly helpful for those working with loss and End of Life, and psilocybin can be helpful for a multitude of symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and ptsd. While this route isn’t for everyone and is absolutely not necessary for working with me, I am excited to be able to offer these services to those who may benefit. If you’re interested in learning more or being put on my wait list, please email me at alison.grayson.coaching@gmail.com. Please note, services will be restricted to Oregon only, and will strictly follow all state mandated rules and regulations, and are expected to begin in Summer 2023.

I am honored to help you return to self amidst grief, loss, change, and transition. You don’t have to do this alone.
