About Me
Hello, I’m Alison (she/they). I am based out of Portland OR, on the land of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples. My path towards Grief and End of Life work began with my (very unplanned) journey of working with animal skulls in my art. Through this work, I started to witness a deep shift in my perception of death, life, and how to live my fullest life though connection and relationship within myself, others, and both the physical and the unseen world around us.
My background is that of a storyteller who traveled the world recording audio for film and video, and I’ve had the honor of helping amazing people from all different cultures and walks of life share their stories. I believe that the stories we share and craft our reality with are of the utmost importance.
I am intimately familiar with personal transformation, heartbreak, loss of loved ones, depression, grief, sudden onset of injury and chronic illness, chronic pain, loss of identity, meaninglessness, and anxiety, while choosing to stay committed to building a life brimming with joy, love, connection, passion, pleasure, creation, and bliss. As a doula I strive to help you see, honor, and celebrate all parts of your beautifully complex being. I’d be honored to work with you.

Personal Values
Everyone has their own path, and everyone has their own story.
I am well-versed in cultural and systematic differences, neurodivergence, physical limitations, chronic illness, different religious and spiritual practices, LGBTQIA and alternative relationship structures. I am adamantly anti-racist and anti-oppression. I acknowledge that we all live in our own realities, and that there are deeply rooted systematic and societal forces that cause many to deal with additional obstacles and difficulties. My job is to support you in connecting to your own power and truths, not to reinforce a cultural narrative or to enforce my own.
We all have an immensely powerful inner guidance system, and my mission is to empower you to fully access your own core being. Our sessions are uniquely tailored to you and your specific needs, allowing our work together in a way that’s as beneficial to you as possible.

Trainings and Qualifications
I received my Death Doula training through INELDA (International End of Life Doula Association), and I am trained in Psilocybin Facilitation via Inner Trek (graduating March 2023, Licensing to Follow). I also hold a coaching certification and volunteer at a local hospice. I have a BS in film and video from Drexel University.
